Enyimba's Stephen Chukwude promises to get a revenge over Plateau United in Sunday's Nigerian topflight encounter.

The People's Elephant were dismissed 3-1 by Plateau United at the Rwang Pam Stadium in the first leg of the tie.

And the former FC IfeanyiUbah striker says they are ready to defeat Kennedy Boboye's men at the U.J Eusene Stadium.

“It was disappointing for us to lose to them when we did in January but we have the opportunity now for us to have our pound of flesh and we are going to utilize it to the optimum,” Chukwude told Goal .

"They may be boasting that they are visiting us with to get a win but they are going to get the shock of their lives when they step to the pitch on Sunday.

“It is unfortunate I won’t be able to play because of the groin injury that I am nursing. I tried training with it earlier this week but I aggravated it and had to go out. I actually got the injury against Sunshine Stars and I will need to rest the groin for some time before coming back.”

The People’s Elephant are ninth on the log with 31 points from 21 games and are up against the league leaders who have 39 points from the same number of matches.
