Chemelil made over a dozen changes-one goalkeeper, four defenders, seven midfielders and two strikers

Chemelil Sugar have signed 14 new players including three from High School ahead of the 2018 Kenyan Premier League season kick off.

The Millers narrowly survived relegation last season, a performance that would see the club take up massive shakeup in the squad and even the technical bench.

Chemelil made over a dozen changes in the playing unit, bringing in one goalkeeper, four defenders, seven midfielders and two strikers in a rebuilding process that is geared at avoiding the kind of performance experienced last season.

The Millers brought in former Kariobangi Sharks goalkeeper, Backy Ochieng to assist John Waw and Richard Aimo.

Defender Kuol Chuol was signed from Kakamega High while Vincent Mahiga (GFE), Kelly (Palos) and Jacob Odhiambo also joined the side from Muhoroni Youth.

Relegated Muhoroni Youth also lost midfielders, Bliss Kityo and Maxwell Onyango to Chemelil who also raided Mosca of Philbert Ochieng, Nakuru Allstars of Charles Kwakha, Steven Njoroge (St. Joseph), Abdul Mohammed (Palos) and George Yakuti, signed from Tusker to strengthen the midfield.

Chemelil also signed Benny Aguero from Palos and Felix Oluoch from Chemase High School to aid the striking department.
