The Chelsea boss beat competition from Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino, Millwall's Neil Harris, AFC Wimbledon's Neal Ardley and Slavisa Jokanovic of Fulham.

The Italian has been the catalyst for a major turnaround for Chelsea this season. Having finished 10th in the league last season, the Blues are 10 points clear of Spurs at the top of the table and have collected 63 points from 26 matches.

Despite being a London award, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and West Ham boss Slaven Bilic were both left off the short-list of finalists for the prize.
