Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos set a new personal goalscoring record in La Liga against Malaga on Saturday.
The defender needed just one goal to match his best-ever goalscoring tally in a single Spanish top-flight season and did so when he opened the scoring for Zinedine Zidane's men after 35 minutes.
And Ramos soon achieved the new feat when he found the back of the net again just eight minutes later at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Ramos, 30, has now scored six Liga goals for leaders Real in 2016-17, while he has notched eight in all competitions.
And the Spain international will now be looking for more goals as Real go in search of a treble under Zidane's tutelage this term.
Real ran out 2-1 winners over Malaga who found the back through Juanpi in the second half.
The result ensured Los Blancos bounced back after losing their previous two games against Sevilla and Celta Vigo respectively.
