Cape Town City sign Mozambique international Dove

The reigning Telkom Knockout champions have decided to beef up their squad during the current Transfer Window

Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of Mozambique international Edmilson Dove.

Dove has been on a lengthy trial with the Mother City club and the defender looks to have impressed head coach Eric Tinkler.

The player joins City from Mozambican champions, Ferroviario de Beira.

The Citizens have been the surprise package of the season, as they club find themselves challenging for PSL title in their debut season.

The Mozambican player is the club's first signing of the current January Transfer Window.

City have also promoted youngster Raphael Georgiades to the first team from their academy.   

Tinkler’s side had released Australian midfielder Matt Sim and Latvian defender Renars Rode at the beginning of January 2017.
