Cameroon's Etame leads Alanyaspor to victory

The Cameroonian striker netted the curtain raiser as Safet Sušić’s men conquered the Yellow-Reds in their pre-season encounter

Mbila Etame scored a goal to lead Alanyaspor to a 2-1 victory over Asteras Tripolis in a friendly encounter on Tuesday evening.

The striker got his side to a good start when he opened the scoring in the sixth minute.

Turkish midfielder, Emre Akbaba doubled the Turkish side's lead six minutes before the half hour mark.

After the restart, Asteras got a lifeline through a Pablo Mazza penalty but could not add more to force a comeback as Safet Sušić’s men held on for a 2-1 win over the Greek topflight outfit.

Etame will be hoping to lead the Bahçeşehir Okulları Stadium outfit to victory when they square up against Hannover 96 in another friendly encounter on July 27.
