CARA Brazzaville will be seeking redemption when they trade tackles with Enyimba in their second group match of the 2018 Caf Confederation Cup at the Stade Alphonse Massemba- Debat, Brazzaville.
The Republic of Congo representatives scaled through to this stage after they saw off Asante Kotoko of Ghana, US Ben Guerdane of Morocco and Ethiopian's Saint George in the playoff round. They have hinged their qualification to the group stage on the back of their impressive home form but they have however been bad travelers having lost all their four away matches till date in this year’s competition.
The nine-time Congolese Premier League champions will be hoping to continue their good form at home against Enyimba who are yet to lose an away match in the competition this season.
On their part, Enyimba will be gunning for a decent result in Brazzaville that will still keep them at the summit of the group. They had begun the group stage with a 2-0 annihilation of Djoliba of Mali almost two weeks ago.
Paul Aigbogun’s men will be lifted by their performances in the away matches of the second tier club competition this term where they beat Energie FC in Cotonou and drew against Bidvest Wits in Johannesburg.

Elsewhere in Group C, it is either a win or burst for Malian side, Djoliba AC who will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host Ivorian side, Williamsville Athletic Club at Stade Modibo Keita, Bamako in their second group fixture.
The Malians were no match to Enyimba in Calabar in the group’s opening tie but they must seek maximum points if they are to stay in contention for one of the tickets to the quarter-final stage. They must be determined to get goals with their three goals from five matches thus far in the competition indicating their lack of goal poachers.
It won’t be an easy task against Les Guepes, the reigning Ligue 1 runners-up in the Cote d’Ivoire topflight who recovered from their 7-4 whitewash in the hands of 2017 Caf Champions League champions, Wydad Casablanca of Morocco to still qualify for the group stage of the Caf Confederation Cup at the expense of Equatoguinean side, Deportivo Niefang.
It is no doubt going to be a fight to finish in Bamako with everything to play for in the quest for the maximum points but Djoliba will be eager for the points to leave their present spot (fourth) in the group table as against Williamsville who are second with three points.
