Caf CL: Tusker ready for first match

VIP fans will pay Sh500 for each ticket to watch Tusker's match against AS Port-Louis 2000 on Saturday

Tusker FC will host Mauritian giants AS Port-Louis 2000 for the preliminary round of the 2017 Caf Champions League tournament on Saturday at Kasarani Stadium.

The Kenyan champions are aiming at registering positive results in the competition's first round in order to book a slot in the tourney's next stage, as explained to Goal by media liaison Diana Yonah.

"The tickets will be trading at Sh500 for VIP and Sh200 for terraces. We are prepared for this match and we hope to claim maximum points. We are asking the fans to turn out in large numbers and support us. No injuries have been reported, and the team is in great shape."

Elsewhere, Ulinzi Stars, who are the country’s representatives in Caf Confederation Cup tournament, left the country on Tuesday for Egypt where they are set to play Libyan side Al Hilal Benghazi.
