Caf CC: Ulinzi Stars leave for Egypt ahead of Al Hilal match

The Soldiers are jetting out of the country on Tuesday ahead of their first Caf Confederation Cup match

The 2016 GOtv runners up Ulinzi Stars leave the country on Tuesday for Egypt where they are set to play Libyan side Al Hilal Benghazi in the 2017 Caf Confederations Cup’s preliminary match.

The Soldiers have been intensely training for the match despite the fact that the Kenyan Premier League is yet to kick off. Head coach Benjamin Nyangweso is optimistic that his charges are up to the task.

FKF to respond to KPL over 2017 fixtures

"We are well prepared for this match, no injuries, or concerns, we are ready to represent the nation. Playing away in our first leg is a plus to us, we are aiming at a positive result that will make the second leg easier for us. It is definitely going to be a challenging match," he told Goal.

The match will be played on February 10, at Cairo Military Academy Stadium without fans.
