The Manchester City goalkeeper played perhaps the best match of his career against Portugal, stopping all three penalties he faced in Kazan

Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo saved as many penalties in Wednesday's 3-0 shoot-out victory over Portugal as he did during his entire career in La Liga.

Bravo the penalty hero for Chile

Bravo stopped all three penalty-kicks against the UEFA champions following a scoreless draw in the Confederations Cup semi-final match in Kazan.

During his entire 11-year professional career in Spain, the former Real Sociedad and Barcelona shot-stopper saved three of the 23 attempts he faced.

Bravo was the hero for Chile against Cristiano Ronaldo and Co., saving a total of six shots to advance to the Confederations Cup final.

The Copa America champions will meet either Mexico or Germany in Sunday's Confederations Cup final.
