Tusker have been boosted with the return of five players ahead of their second league match set for Sunday.

The brewers suffered a humiliating 5-2 defeat at the hands of newcomers Nzoia Sugar on the opening day and will be seeking to make things right in the competition. The club has confirmed on their official website that five players among them lead striker Allan Wanga will be available for selection against Thika United.

“The team resumed training this morning ahead of our next league match against Thika United this weekend. We have some good news on the injuries front. Marlon Tangauzi, Danson Kago, Anthony Ndolo, Humphrey Mieno and Allan Wanga, who missed the first match of the league against Nzoia, are back training with the first team.”

Tusker won the league last season, beating Gor Mahia to the tape, and are seeking to defend the same in 2017. On the other hand, Gor Mahia started their campaign for the title on a sound note after beating promoted side Kariobangi Sharks 3-1 on Sunday.
