The American scored the clincher as his side advanced to the DFB-Pokal quarterfinals.

Hamburg striker Bobby Wood scored with 15 minutes to play against Cologne to seal a 2-0 win in the German Cup on Tuesday.

With his club up 1-0, Wood played a one-two with Gideon Jung before beating his man and slotting home to put his club up two goals.

It was the seventh goal in all competitions for the 24-year-old, who is his club's top scorer on the season.
