The two PSL clubs are open to selling the two players to Amakhosi, who are looking to make more signings

Kaizer Chiefs are yet to officially register their interest in Ajax Cape Town defender Mosa Lebusa and Bloemfontein Celtic winger Kabelo Mahlasela.

The two players have been heavily linked with Chiefs since last season and the Soweto giants are expected to make their move for the players during the current Transfer Window.

Mich D'Avray, the Ajax technical director, indicated that they are open to selling Lebusa, who has also been linked with Chiefs' Gauteng rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

"No club has written to us about their interest in signing Lebusa. The player is still contracted to the club,"  D'Avray told Isolezwe.

"He is one of the players, who are busy preparing for the new season. If there is a team looking to sign the player - the door is always open - we can discuss it," he added.

Amakhosi are also said to be keen to sign former Pirates attacking midfielder Mahlasela, who had a breakthrough season during the 2016/17 campaign.

Celtic chief executive officer Khumbulani Konco revealed that they would be open to selling Mahlasela if there was an offer for the player.

"There is no club that has registered their interest in the player," Konco told Isolezwe.

"Yes, no one has contacted me regarding him and there are no concrete offers. We can sell the player if there's an offer," he added.

Mahlasela still has one season left on his Celtic deal, while Lebusa remains contracted to Ajax until June, 2019.
