Bidvest Wits have officially announced the signing of Nigeria international Uzoenyi Ejike.
The left-footed winger recently parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns after enduring two difficult seasons at Chloorkop.
Uzoenyi was linked with a possible return to Nigeria, but Gavin Hunt jumped at the opportunity to sign him for his team.
The Students took to their social platforms on Wednesday morning to announce Uzoenyi's arrival.
He will be expected to compete with the likes of Mogakolodi Ngele for a place in the starting line-up.
Uzoenyi has already been registered with the PSL, and he's available for selection for the remainder of the season.
Wits did not disclose the details of Uzoenyi's contract, and it remains to be seen how long the player will be at Braamfontein-based club for.
We are pleased to welcome Chris Uzoenyi to the family. Good luck as you add strength to our attacking force. #NewSigning #WhiteAndBlueArmy pic.twitter.com/NOVVhPIyU4 — Bidvest Wits (@BidvestWits) February 15, 2017
