Napoli face Fiorentina in what looks certain to be a classic Coppa Italia quarter-final on Tuesday night.
Maurizio Sarri's side extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 14 matches with a hugely impressive 2-1 away-day win against AC Milan in Serie A on Saturday evening and, given their fine record on home soil, Napoli will fancy their chances of coming out top again in this one.
Indeed, the hosts have won each of their last five fixtures at Stadio San Paolo and Paddy Power make Sarri's charges their 8/13 (1.62) favourites to secure their place in the final four with a win inside 90 minutes.
Fiorentina, though, will make the trip in confident mood, for they have won each of their last three fixtures – with the latest triumph coming in a convincing 3-0 win away from home against Chievo on Saturday.
These two teams locked horns in Florence just before Christmas and the match ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw, with the Partenopei scoring a last-gasp penalty to secure a share of the spoils.
There is certainly plenty of potential for a goal-laden game, for nine of Fiorentina's last 11 away matches have seen more than two goals scored, while Napoli have netted at least three goals in four of their last five home fixtures in all competitions; the 15/8 (2.88) quote, therefore, for Napoli to score more than two in this tie is certainly not without appeal.
Better value, however, lies in backing Paddy Power's supremely generous 11/8 (2.38) quote for Napoli to win a game in which more than two goals are scored.
The selection would have seen punters profit from each of the last nine games that Sarri's men have won, as well as in five of the last six defeats that Paulo Sousa's side have suffered on the road.
Punters, therefore, are advised to snap up the 11/8 (2.38) quote offered up for the home side to come out on top of a tie in which three or more goals are scored.
