Barcelona v Real Sociedad Betting: Distracted hosts unlikely to keep out La Real

Anything other than a win would be a very disappointing result for the Catalans but the visitors can make life tough for them at the Camp Nou

Following back-to-back defeats on the road at Malaga and Juventus respectively, Barcelona return to the Camp Nou this weekend desperately in need of a win.

The 2-0 loss at Malaga last Saturday dented the Blaugrana's league title hopes, while their 3-0 defeat in Turin leaves their Champions League ambitions hanging by a thread.

The visit of Real Sociedad therefore is a chance for Luis Enrique's men to try and recover some form and confidence ahead of Wednesday's European second leg against Juventus. Barca's home record however remains strong where the Catalans have won eight straight league matches scoring 32 in the process although Real Sociedad could potentially cause them some problems.

Luis Enrique Barcelona coach

The Basques have won eight away matches this season, with only Real Madrid and Barcelona winning more, and dabblebet offer them at 12/1 (13.00) to claim another victory at the Camp Nou. Barca meanwhile can be backed at 2/9 (1.22) with the draw offered at 11/2 (6.50).

These two sides have already met three times this season, with Barca winning both encounters in the Copa Del Rey and La Real outplaying the Blaugrana in a 1-1 draw in La Liga. Whether or not Luis Enrique choses to rest players ahead of the visit of Juventus remains to be seen although the manager will definitely be without Neymar after he was sent off last weekend.

Barca would still expect to win this game and the price of 7/5 (2.40) for them to do so while conceding looks appealing, while both teams to score which has paid out in eight of the Blaugrana's home league games this term is also offered at a tempting 4/5 (1.80).

The price of 14/5 (3.80) for Real Sociedad to score first could also be of interest for a value bet, with Barca's opponents opening the scoring in four of their last six games in all competitions.

The caveat to this bet is that Barca have only conceded first at home in La Liga twice all season, but with a big Champions League tie coming up and some big players likely to be out, this selection should hold some interest as a value selection for those chasing bigger returns.

Both teams to score at 4/5 (1.80) for a 2pt stake with dabblebet
