Barcelona's hopes of defending their La Liga crown effectively hang on whether Celta Vigo can snap out of their slump and shock Real Madrid on Wednesday.
Real Madrid will head to Vigo for their game in hand just behind Barca on head-to-head but knowing a win over the Europa League semi-finalists will all-but wrap up the championship with a round remaining.
For the past month, Celta coach Eduardo Berizzo has effectively turned his back on Spain's top tier to focus on the Europa League, with his team winning just one of their past eight La Liga fixtures and losing the other seven.
That decision helped Celta overcome Genk to reach the Europa League's last four but they lost their semi-final to Manchester United 2-1 on aggregate.
Without the threat of relegation, Celta have little to play for but if they can rise to the occasion against Madrid, it could open the door for Barca to retain the title.
