Club football returns this weekend with the Merseyside derby kicking off Saturday’s Premier League action. A clash between Arsenal and Manchester City wraps things up on Sunday evening. Make sure you’ve placed your bets with Betin Kenya!
Liverpool vs Everton (1 – 1.70)
Only once before have Liverpool been on a longer unbeaten run against their neighbours, a win or a draw here equalling the record of 13 matches. Everton’s star striker Romelu Lukaku has scored five times against the Reds, but only once at Anfield. The home win is tipped but if you’re looking for longer odds, a red card to be shown is at 4.14. This fixture has seen 21 of them, more than any other Premier League meeting.
Burnley vs Tottenham (2 – 1.66)
Burnley have beaten Spurs just once in their last five meetings and seem to experience an historic goal drought in April (haven’t scored in their last five matches played in the month). However, 83% of Burnley’s Premier League victories have come at Turf Moor, so home comforts are clearly an advantage. Nevertheless, with Spurs in fine form, back the away win at 1.66.
Leicester City vs Stoke City (1 – 2.04)
Leicester have made dramatic improvements since the sacking of Claudio Ranieri and have won all three Premier League fixtures (and one Champions League fixture) since Craig Shakespeare took charge. This is historically a poor fixture for Stoke City, who have won just once in their last eight trips to the King Power Stadium. The home win is tipped as Leicester continues their resurgence.
Southampton vs Bournemouth (1 -1.62)
Southampton have won two of their three Premier League games against their south coast rivals while the Cherries have never won away at the Saints in any competition. Bournemouth also tend to concede heavily on the road (2.2 goals per game). Southampton’s form has been up and down but they are tipped to get the win in this derby.
Arsenal vs Man City (GG – 1.52)
Arsenal are under pressure as a recent run of defeats has seen the Gunners crash out of the Champions League and drop to sixth on the Premier League table. Arsenal are well out of the title race and indeed, another loss here would make Champions League football next season unlikely. Manchester City are third and will be looking behind them wearily amid a difficult run of fixtures. These sides almost always both find the back of the net when going head-to-head. Both Teams to Score is the tip.
Taking all five selections will offer odds of 14.18 on the multiple, meaning a Ksh 500 bet could win you Ksh 7442 in return!
