Vincenzo Montella’s charges have been in blistering form in Europe’s second tier tourney and will be looking to continue when they host the Whites

Italian giants AC Milan welcome Croatian outfit Rijeka to the San Siro in Group D of the Uefa Europa League on Thursday night.

The Rossoneri are coming here on the back of a 2-0 loss away to Sampdoria in the Serie A which ended a three game winning run. They’ve however remained unstoppable in the Europa League so far and are (1.25) for a comfortable win with Bet365.

Matjaz Kek’s men head to the Italian fashion capital with very little confidence. They drew their last league outing with Slaven Koprivinca and lost their Group D opener at home to AEK Athens. It’s a different gulf in class here which makes the Croatian champions clear underdogs at odds of (14.00).

A stalemate isn’t something the same firm banks on but punters who dare have massive odds of (6.50) on offer.

Milan have never met Rijeka before but have faced Croatian opposition in Dinamo Zagreb four times, all ending in victories. The men in red and black stripes are tipped to win to nil at (1.90).

Montella’s charges have won all their Europa League games this term and look good to win both halves in this tie at (2.37).

The seven-time European champions have scored a mouth-watering 12 goals in their last six games. Odds of (1.57) for more than three goals at the San Siro look very rewarding.

Rijeka have been in great scoring form with 19 goals in their last six matches. However considering the difference in class of the two teams, it’s a NO at (1.66)) for both to score with Bet365.

Andre Silva recorded a fantastic hattrick against the Violets to take his tally for the season to five goals in seven games. The summer signing from FC Porto will be looking fired up again here and is quoted to score first at odds of (4.75) and (1.95) anytime.
