Bernardeschi undergoes Juventus medical ahead of €40m move

After scoring 11 times for Fiorentina in Serie A last season, the 23-year-old is closing in on a big-money move to the champions

Juventus are closing in on the signing of Italy international Federico Bernardeschi, who is undergoing a medical with the Turin club.

The 23-year-old Fiorentina attacker is expected to complete a €40 million move, which has long been rumoured.



Juventus are still hunting for a replacement for Paul Pogba following his world-record transfer to Manchester United last summer, and after Bernardeschi scored 11 times for the Viola in Serie A last term they are hopeful he could be their man.

Around 100 fans gathered outside J Medical to greet the player, with a banner stating: "The No.10 cannot be without an owner. Welcome, Fede, winning is our mission."
