Benik Afobe stood out as the hero for AFC Bournemouth as they cruised to a 3-1 win over Yeovil Town.

The 24-year-old netted a brace as the Vitality Stadium outfit continued their impressive offseason training with four wins in five games.

Keston Davies opened scoring for Yeovil Town in the 15th minute before Lys Mousset equalized in the 30th minute.

Five minutes later, Afobe gave the Eddie Howe’s men the lead into the half-time break and later extended the goal margin with a 53rd minute strike which ended to be the match winning goal.

AFC Bournemouth welcome Napoli for their final pre-season game on August 6 before they start off their English Premier League campaign with a game against West Bromwich Albion.
