Speaking after receiving registration certificate on Saturday, a delighted Mbalanya extended an olive branch to his opponents and appealed to them to join hands and build the club together. "I wish to thank all the members, who turned up and cast their votes for the newly elected team. My major task will be to rebuild a strong fan base that will supersed that of Gor Mahia.
"This will be achieved through establishment of a fan website by which we shall recruit members''.
Other strategies he said include introduction of fan day as well as fan of the month award. The fans club conducted elections last weekend at KPA Mbaraki Sports Club in which Mbalanya was elected unopposed for a second and final term.
Others elected include Susan Ayoyi as the vice chairman, Mary Akinyi as the Treasurer, Beatrice Taita as the assistant Treasurer, Bilton Barasa as organizing Treasurer, Matreda Mwakireti as the secretary and Rashid Tenges as the head of fans.
