Azam to send Amoah to South Africa for treatment

Azam FC have revealed that they will send their defender Daniel Amoah to the Republic of South Africa for more assessment and treatment on his knee.

The Ghanaian, got injured on February 7 when playing against Simba and he has not featured for the club since.

Speaking via Azam Official Website, Dr. Mwanandi Mwankemwa said that they tried to assess the injury and decided to send him to South Africa for more assessment.

“We tried a lot but he did not show any kind of improvement so we decided to send him off to South Africa where he will be assessed by more experienced doctors,” said Mwankemwa.

Azam are preparing to face Mtibwa Sugar in a Federation Cup last eight tie which will be held on March 31 at the Chamazi Complex, Dar es Salaam.
