Azam FC have revealed that they will play a friendly match with Friends Rangers on Saturday as part of their preparation ahead of their Federation Cup quarter final tie against Mtibwa Sugar on March 31.

Speaking via Azam Official Website, Coach Aristica Cioaba suggested that the game will be good enough for him to assess some of his players who did not get chances in the Ligi Kuu matches.

“This is a good time to play because some of players went to the national teams, so the remaining group of players will get the chance to show their quality,” said Ciaoba.

The Federation Cup is the only realistic chance for the Ice Cream Makers to win a silverware this season as they currently sit third on the Ligi Kuu table.
