Azam players given a week to rest

Azam's run to the finals of the Mapinduzi Cup seems to have had a toll on its players energy levels

After their 2-1 loss against Yanga, Azam Head Coach Aristica Cioaba has decided to give his players a week’s rest before resuming training for the second round of the Premium League.

Speaking to Goal Aristica revealed that many of his players are fatigued and they need to rest in order to recover and have new energy before starting the second round of the Premium League.

"My players are too tired because of playing many matches without a break, so after our FA game against Shupavu I have decided to give them one week leave in order to recover" said Aristica.

The Romanian coach further revealed that since the end of the Mapinduzi Cup his player have not rested.
