Asamoah Gyan scored his third goal for Kayserispor in their 1-1 draw pre-season game with Qatar Stars League's champions, Al-Duhail on Sunday.

The attacker who joined the Super Lig side from Shanghai SIPG made his second appearance for the Anatolian Star after scoring a brace on his debut against the German side, Hannover 96 on Thursday.

The Ghanaian international put Marius Șumudica’s men in front with a well-taken strike in the 16th minute.

Gyan’s goal was short-lived as it was soon cancelled out before the break.

The Turkish side will be banking on the striker’s goal prowess when they kick-start their campaign in the Super Lig on August 14.
