Arsene Wenger made wholesale changes for a midweek Europa League tie with Cologne, but has reverted back to his tried and tested in domestic competition.

Arsenal team: Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal, Kolasinac, Ramsey, Xhaka, Iwobi, Sanchez, Lacazette. Subs: Ospina, Mertesacker, Coquelin, Wilshere, Maitland-Niles, Welbeck, Giroud.

The absence of Ozil means that Wenger is forced into making just one tweak to the side which saw off Tottenham 2-0 in the north London derby.

Alex Iwobi comes into the starting XI and will be hoping to make an impact in what promises to be a tricky test for Arsenal at Turf Moor.

Victory for the Gunners would lift them above arch-rivals Spurs and into the Premier League’s top four, but the Clarets have suffered just one defeat on home soil so far this season.
