Arsenal team news: Lacazette returns to starting line-up against Newcastle

The French striker replaces his compatriot Oliver Giroud while Jack Wilshere and Ainsley Maitland-Niles also continue in the starting XI

Alexandre Lacazette returns to the Arsenal first XI in Olivier Giroud's place as the Gunners seek a win over Newcastle United on Saturday. 

The French frontman comes in for his compatriot following Wednesday's 0-0 stalemate with West Ham at the London Stadium, while Alex Iwobi continues in attack alongside Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Sead Kolasinac drops to the bench with Ainsley Maitland-Niles continuing at left-back and Jack Wilshere makes his second consecutive Premier League start next to Granit Xhaka in central midfield.

Newcastle meanwhile welcome back Rob Elliot in goal and manager Rafa Benitez hands a start to former Arsenal midfielder Issac Hayden, with Jonjo Shelvey missing out through suspension.
