Arsenal reveal new signing Kolasinac's shirt number

The Gunners have confirmed that the Bosnia and Herzegovina international will take the No.31 squad number at the club, replacing Jeff Reine-Adelaide

Arsenal have confirmed that left-back Sead Kolasinac will wear the No.31 shirt at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners unveiled the news via an update on their Twitter profile, with supporters having been keen to learn which squad number the new signing would be taking.

Kolasinac will become Arsene Wenger's first signing of the summer when the transfer window opens, with the club having confirmed he has completed a move from Schalke.

And he will take the squad number that was previously assigned to youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide when he joins up with the Gunners in the coming weeks.

The north Londoners have been linked with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Alexandre Lacazette in the summer window but have thus far confirmed only Kolasinac as a transfer arrival.

The futures of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez remain in the up air, meanwhile, although they did appear in the promotional content for the club's new home shirt that was unveiled on Wednesday.
