Andile Jali seriously considering his future at KV Oostende

Jali will sit down with the club and discuss his future if manager Yves Vanderhaeghe continues to overlook him, according to Makaab

Bafana Bafana midfielder Andile Jali is believed to be considering his future at Belgian outfit KV Oostende.

According to his agent Mike Makaab, the player is not happy with his lack of game time under manager Yves Vanderhaeghe.

Makaab said they're closely monitoring the player's situation, adding that they will set up a meeting with the club if Jali continues to warm the bench.

The 26-year-old made a strong comeback from a serious injury late last year, but he struggled to regain his place in the starting line-up as the team was doing well.

"We are taking it week by week and seeing how things play out," Makaab told TimesLive.

"The most important thing‚ and he agrees‚ is that he must play, and that hasn’t been happening for the last short while," he said.

"We will sit down with Oostende and discuss the situation and take it from there. When that will be, I’m not sure," concluded Makaab.

Jali is one of Oostende's senior players having been with the club since leaving Orlando Pirates in January 2014.

His continued lack of game could see him lose his place in the South African national team ahead of what is expected to be an important year for Bafana Bafana.
