Ambani reveals reason behind Nakumatt's recent struggles

Nakumatt FC has been posting mixed results since promotion to the Kenyan Premier League.

After playing eleven matches, the shoppers are placed 12th on the table with 13 points. Team's assistant coach Fred Ambani is confident the team will turn it around and post positive results. "Many of our players had not played in the top tier before, we came with from the NSL and they were taking part in the top tier for the first time," Ambani told Goal.

"It took them some time to adopt and get that vital experience. We have players like Kepha Aswani, Eugene Ambulwa and the likes who have been of great help. I believe we have a great talent down here, and once we get used to the league, things will be different. This team has a great potential to do better in the league."
