Al Sadd's Kamal: A single decisive game unfair

Al Sadd play Esteghlal of Iran in a one-match qualifier for the AFC Champions League group stage.

Hossam Kamal, Al Sadd's defender, insists it's unfair to play a single game as a decider of who will make it to the AFC Champions League group stage.

Al Sadd will be welcomed by Esteghlal Tehran at the Azadi Stadium in the Iranian capital city on Tuesday, and Al Sadd will have to bring home the victory to advance to the group stage of the most prestigious competition in Asia.

"It will be a tough match," said the 21-year-old at the pre-match press conference in Tehran.

"Al-Sadd players are fully ready to give their best, despite the fact that it is a one-off match, which is unfair for the team."

"However, we are capable of putting up our best performance and fighting on the pitch to get the win and book a place in the group stage."
