Rebrov’s side looking for league dominance

After struggling at the end of Christian Gross’ second stint as head coach of Al Ahli and the beginning of Serhiy Rebrov’s time, Al Ahli have managed to turn things around with a run of good results and new signings despite the absence of star striker Omar Al Somah due to injury.

The signing of Momen Zakaria a few weeks ago has already seen an immediate effect when he scored a brace in the King Cup Round of 16, but this signing was followed up by the arrival of Tunisian international Mohammed Amine Ben Amor.

Al Ahli didn’t stop there, with Mark Milligan being brought in from Melbourne Victory to strengthen both their defence and midfield. The move came after persistence by Al Ahli, who had an offer already rejected by Melbourne Victory.
