Plateau United’s goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye believes that unity among the players, coaches and management is the major reason the Peace Boys are riding high at the top of the league table this season.

Despite stumbling to El Kanemi Warriors last Sunday, the Jos side are still on top of the league table with 48 points from 27 games and the former Nigeria youth international is eyeing the NPFL diadem..

“I still believe we still have the league title to ourselves and I don’t think this setback should demoralize us in any way,” Ajiboye told Goal.

“We should have taken at least a point out of the encounter but it is now history. I believe the unity in this Plateau United team is awesome and worth commenting on.

''All the players are working together to achieve the same goal while the coaches and the management members too are striving not to be distracted. It is this important factor that is the reason we are on top of the league.”
