AFC Leopards targeting KPL title

After finishing at the bottom-half of the Kenyan Premier League table in 2016, the 13-times champions AFC Leopards are hopeful of finishing among the best three teams this season.

Club's chairman Dan Mule has confessed to Goal that it is a make or break season for the team and that head coach Stewart Hall has to ensure that the team gets positive results.

"The team is strong and league title is what crisscrosses our minds. We are definitely going to challenge for that top spot but in case we do not get it , we will be okay with a position within the best three places.

"It has been challenging for us to come up with a competitive squad considering the fact that we had limited resources. I am optimistic though that we will give our best and smile at the end of the season."

AFC Leopards are playing against National Super League side Wazito FC on Wednesday.
