AFC Leopards have completed the signings of ten players ahead of 2017 Kenyan Premier League season.

Through their official website, Ingwe have confirmed the signings of Dennis Sikhayi – Defender joins from Western Stima, Marcus Abwao – Defender from Nairobi Stima, Mike Kibwage – Defender formerly of Kakamega Homeboyz and Vincent Ouma Oburu – Striker who gets promoted from the Junior team. Ibrahim Elias Mao also joins the team from the Sofapaka U-20 side.

Western Stima in talks to sign ex-AFC Leopards defender

The statements reads, “AFC Leopards Sports Club can confirm they have completed the signing of five new players ahead of the upcoming season. Dennis Sikhayi – Defender joins from Western Stima, Marcus Abwao – Defender from Nairobi Stima, Mike Kibwage – Defender formerly of Kakamega Homeboyz and Vincent Ouma Oburu – Striker who gets promoted from the Junior team. Ibrahim Elias Mao also joins the team from the Sofapaka U20 side.

“The club has also agreed personal terms with Abdallah Yusuf (Shittu) – Defender (Posta Rangers), Duncan Otieno – Midfielder (Posta Rangers) and Samuel Ndungu – Midfielder (Muhoroni Youth). They will join the rest of the team once their current contracts expire at the respective clubs.

“Former Mathare United duo Yhvonne Isuza and Robinson Kamura will sign for Ingwe after they secure release letters from the current club. We also confirm that we are engaging Western Stima for the possible signing of Goalkeeper Gabriel Andika.

Former AFC Leopards midfielder joins NSL side

“Finally, we wish to notify members that Gilbert Fiamenyo will arrive from this evening (Wednesday) and will be training with the rest of the squad tomorrow (Thursday). We will update you further as we finalize on these in readiness for the 2017 season.”
