Talented AFC Leopards’ forward Vincent Oburu has been handed the club’s iconic jersey number 9 while Burundian Alexis Kitenge will be donning number 14.

Oburu, who was leading GOtv Shield Cup top scorers chart in the round of 32 with five goals, was re-assigned jersey number (9) which was once donned by legendary J.J Masiga.

Oburu initially donned number 25 which has since been handed to former Bandari man, Musa Mudde. Kitenge, who made his debut for Ingwe in the 2-0 win over Nairobi Stima last Saturday in Mumias, is part of the six new faces at the Den after mid-season transfer window that closed in June.

New signing Aziz Okaka, who found the net in AFC Leopards’ 2-0 win over Stima, will don jersey number 27 while Ray Omondi was handed number 22. Ugandan Kerizon Kizito landed jersey number 17 with Vincent Majjid taking number 40.
