AFC Leopards players have vowed to stage a go-slow in the coming days over unpaid bonuses, Goal can authoritatively reveal.

Ingwe players have not received their winning allowances after beating Mathare United 2-1 on Sunday.

According to sources at the club, the players have threatened to boycott their next league match against Nakumatt this weekend. “We have not been paid. Things will never be the same again,” said one of the players.

The impending strike, Goal has learnt, is a cover-up being engineered by a member of the Executive, who could also get into trouble after he allegedly cashed in on the signing-fee in the June transfer market.

Ingwe Secretary General Oscar Igaida has confirmed that the matter will be sorted out. "It is true we owe players part of their allowances, but the salary has been paid upto date.

"We are working round the clock to make sure that the issue is sorted."
