AFC Leopards have moved with speed to identify venues for home matches following the closure of Kasarani stadium.

Secretary General Oscar Igaida has told Goal that his side will have three grounds to host home matches depending on fixtures.

Stadia closure to affect Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards

The three grounds include Thika Sub-county Stadium, Machakos County Stadium and Mumias Complex. “We are aware that Kasarani is closed for renovation and we have decided to stage our 2017 home matches in the three stadiums (Machakos, Thika and Mumias).”

Their arch-rivals Gor Mahia have also been affected by the stadia renovations; Nyayo stadium being one of the venues marked for refurbishment.
