AFC Leopards coach Robert Matano is gutted with his team's inability to collect maximum points against Fosa Juniors of Madagascar in the Caf Confederation Cup on Sunday.

Yusuf Mainge gave Ingwe the lead after just three minutes, but the visitors’ leveled matters thirteen minutes later at Bukhungu Stadium for a 1-1 draw.

Matano feels his side conceded easily and that some of his players let him down. “The goal we conceded was just like the one against Posta Rangers, it was more or the same. The defense failed to clear the ball and we paid the price.

“We were down in almost every department, there was no urgency whatsoever. The midfield also let us down and there was no urgency in the striking area. We will make changes in the second leg because we have to get results to push us to the next round.”

Ingwe will need a high scoring draw or a win of any kind in the return fixture to progress to the next phase.
