AFC Leopards book Embu, Nyeri clubs for friendlies

AFC Leopards are touring Eastern and Central Kenya for friendly matches

AFC Leopards are in Embu ahead of their friendly match against Embu County team set for Saturday at 3:00pm.

Ingwe arrived in Embu on Thursday, two days before the match to conduct light training sessions in readiness for the match, which will be used to start building the team’s chemistry after introducing 13 new players in the squad.

After Saturday’s action, they will travel to Nyeri where they will be hosted by Tetu Combined at Tetu Stadium on Sunday as from 3:00pm before returning to Nairobi the same day.

Team manager Tony Lidonde has confirmed to Goal that every player is in good health and that they are ready to heighten their preparations for the league action. “We arrived well in Embu and everyone is psyched up for the matches.”

 AFC Leopards finished the league at position 13 with 30 points last season.
