Ingwe have openly expressed their interest in re-signing their former marksman with Nakumatt insisting he will not leave

Speculation over Kepha Aswani's future has been an open secret to interested parties as far as Kenyan Premier League is concerned.

AFC Leopards have openly expressed their interest in re-signing their former marksman with current team Nakumatt insisting the striker is going nowhere. It seems the striker will, after all, stay at the promoted side following latest development whereby striker Obadiah Ndege has been released.

Club's secretary General Albert Wesonga has explained the reason behind the former Mathare United's man release."Ndege was not injured at all, he failed to do better than Aswani, who is in a good form. Remember they are playing in the same position and Aswani has everything we need, currently," Wesonga told Goal.

"Ndege asked for a release letter in search for playing time and we could not deny him that, we granted it to him."

This is bad news for Ingwe faithful, who were keen to have the striker (Aswani) signed for their struggling side.
