Michael Laudrup believes Al Rayyan are on the verge of qualifying for the next round of the AFC Champions League.
The Qatar Stars League outfit face Al Hilal in the final game of Group D on Monday at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium needing a win to ensure that they join their opponents in the Round of 16.
Al Rayyan suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Al Hilal in the first leg.
"We will face one of the best Asian teams, and we showed in the first leg that we have strong chances to win this game", Laudrup said at his pre-match press conference on Sunday.
The Dane pointed out that the team has some crucial injuries but refused to disclose the squad that will play be available for the fixture, stressing that all the players who make the cut will give their all to win.
Despite the fact that Al Hilal have already secured qualification, Laudrup doesn't expect an easy outing.
"I do not think that the Saudi team will play with complacency as a result of their qualification. This team wants to end the group stage in first place, given the importance of qualifying as winners."
A draw may be enough for the home side if Al Wahda beat Persepolis in the other group game. Al Rayyan are second in the group with seven points followed by Persepolis with six and Al Wahda with four.
The game kicks-off at 1925 GST on Monday.
