The Syrian striker enjoyed another prosperous outing against Persepolis on Tuesday....

After a 4-0 win over Persepolis in the first leg of their AFC Champions League semifinal, Al Hilal knew they already had one foot in the final of the continental championship when they lined up for the second leg.

Though Persepolis briefly threatened to overturn the deficit when they scored an early opener, Omar Khribin stepped up to ensure the Saudi Arabian team did not suffer any hiccups.

His two goals on Tuesday in a 2-2 result meant he has scored five goals in two games against the Iranians.

Syria international Khribin scored a hat-trick in the first leg last month to be named Toyota Player of the Week, and his impressive finishing in Muscat stood out with his two goals coming from two shots on target.

First, he equalised for Al Hilal with a cheeky chipped penalty, showing his composed nature before he equalised once again in the second half when he came up with a smart twist and finish to ensure his team reached the summit clash.

Ultimately, his efforts see him named as this week's Goal's Asian Player of the Week!
