The Ghanaian was on target once again for Aston Villa, a goal that caught the eye of coach Steve Bruce

Aston Villa hit four unanswered goals pass Burton Albion in the English Championship on Tuesday but it was Albert Adomah's strike that apparently left the biggest impression on manager Steve Bruce.

After Keinan Davis opened the scoring, the Ghana international made it 2-0 three minutes later before Robert Snodgrass and Joshua Onomah added their names to the scoresheet.

On the break, Adomah received a pass from Snodgrass and made no mistake with his first-time shot from the edge of the box.

"Let’s not get too carried away, but I was very pleased with what I saw tonight," Bruce said.

"It’s arguably the best performance since I’ve been here – to score four goals away from home in the Championship is never easy.

"Albert Adomah’s goal was wonderful. It’s intricate play and he’s has got himself through.

"We played some really good stuff and opened them up."

Adomah, who joined the Villans from Middlesbrough in summer last year, has now notched four goals in his last three games in the Championship.
