MFM FC have the advantage against ABS, says Ilechukwu

Despite expecting a tight encounter against Henry Makinwa's side, the Olukoya Boys' handler feels his side have the upper hand in the NPFL tie

Fidelis Ilechukwu has insisted that Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC have a ‘50-50’ chance when they battle Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC in a Nigerian Professional Football League encounter at the Kwara State Stadium on Thursday.

Concerned about the threat posed by the fourth placed side, the coach believes the result could swing in either sides' favour.

“The truth is that ABS are a very strong team and they equally have [good] ability,” Ilechukwu told Goal.

“They are very strong and the mental strength of the team is high because I’ve been following their training programs and some other things.

“But our team is strong as well. Nobody gave us a chance at Shooting Stars and Sunshine Stars. So, for me, it is 50-50.

“It is a game of win, lose or draw. Anything can happen since it is 50-50.
