The Ucendu Warriors' skipper insists his side will give their all to escape defeat against Manu Garba's side at the Pantami Stadium on Wednesday

Abia Warriors captain Austin Obaroakpo is hoping for a positive result against Gombe United, assuring that his side will do all to avoid defeat on Wednesday.

Abdullahi Biffo's men had secured a 2-1 win over Plateau United in the first leg and the defender is confident they can consolidate on their newly found winning form at the Pantami Stadium.
"We were happy with our victory against Plateau United. It has given us a lot of confidence," Madu told Goal.
"It was a big game for us but we came out victorious. The victory has helped us recover the winning mentality we've lost in our recent matches.
"We want to build on the form and we need to start getting points. Well, our intention going to Gombe to pick a point at least. It is possible and I’m very sure we won't lose to them.
“We are not comfortable yet and must keep fighting. I know Gombe are really in a bad situation and it is an advantage to avoid falling there."
Abia Warriors are 11th on the log with 35 points - eight points seperating them from hosts Gombe United in 19th position after 25 games.
