'Infighting' is damaging England's 2018 World Cup bid - Karen Brady
Comments come in the wake of Dave Richards' resignation on Tuesday...
England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup could be undermined by 'infighting', according to Karen Brady.
Brady, who quit the bid team board earlier this month, said the bid so far had been a 'shambles'.
"There's been bickering, infighting and disruption," she said in an interview with BBC Radio Five Live.
"If everybody doesn't pull together for the same aim, things won't be achieved.
She reiterated the positives of the county's bid, which was hit with a fresh blow on Tuesday when Premier League chairman Dave Richards resigned from the board less than a fortnight into the role.
"We've got an excellent chance and an excellent technical bid.
"We've got some wonderful stadia in this country to host the most amazing World Cup.
"But internal politics can't be seen to be getting in the way of that."
