Carlo Ancelotti admitted his pride in the performance of his Chelsea side following a comfortable 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Italian believes his side are rolling along thanks to confidence gained from an impressive run of results that keep them five points ahead of Manchester United in the Premier League.
"When we win I am happy," Ancelotti told BBC Sport. "When we play well, I am also happy. Today we did both things."
As well as his side hitting the back of the net four times against Mick McCarthy's overwhelmed visitors, Chelsea also recorded their 10th successive home clean sheet and Ancelotti was keen to highlight the importance of a balanced side.
"We have a lot of opportunities to score and it is important to maintain a balance in the team."
Having consolidated their position at the top of the Premier League, the Chelsea boss finished by outlining the feelings in the camp.
"The team improved our play and we have a lot of confidence," he added.
