QPR youngster Raheem Sterling has said he is happy to remain at the club, despite speculation linking the precocious talent with a move away from West London.

The 14-year-old has just made his debut for QPR's reserve side and England U16s, and there has been talk of Manchester City and Manchester United making a move for the player, although he cannot sign a professional deal until December 2010.

"Everyone's been pretty nice - they all just treat me like one of them and want me to do my best," Sterling told the Kilburn Times.

"I'd like to play a few more games for the reserves and do well in training and play for the first team eventually.

"Jim Magilton has watched me play and train and he said 'keep doing what you're doing - I'm not afraid to chuck young players in the first team'. If it happened, I'd just have to be a bit smarter than normal."
